The focal point of Written on My Heart is the handmade polymer clay heart fashioned by yours truly. A funky design ideal for those small places, it measures 12″ x 4″ with a depth of 1 1/2″. The quote charm further emphasizes the theme of the piece with “Remember to keep some room in your heart for the unimaginable”.
Textured stencils on a stretched canvas provide a background further enhanced by layers of paints and spritz sprays.
Vintage found objects (stuff) include buttons, beads, and plaster chandelier piece.
New objects include (but not limited to) beads, beaded trim, flower cabochons, gears, leaves, metal heart, fabric/paper flowers, winged heart, metal tree finding, filagreed embellishments, and the quote charm.
Tiny starfish provide this piece with a natural element while the handmade polymer clay heart adds to the uniqueness of the piece.
Attached hanger. Although I prefer the no-frame look, this is ready for framing. I occasionally frame an Assemblage Art piece and the end result can be stunning.
