An Assemblage Art piece on a wooden heart covered in embellishments and antique lace which are in turn sealed with multiple coats and spritzes of paint. I usually paint each element separately but this type of overall painting certainly holds great appeal as well.

The embellishments are mostly vintage and include antique lace, earrings, bottle lid, bracelet pieces, beads, buttons, and plastic teardrop. A few of the newer elements are the heart, leaves, and gears.

The pictures fail to show the intricacies of color – it’s several shades of a lighter blue mixed with bronze and gray and is highlighted by a slight berry color. It does have a slight metallic sheen.

The heart has a single hanger on back which allows the piece to hang close to the wall. It’s largest diameter measurement is 7″.
