Assemblage Art is all about blending a myriad of elements into one unique piece. I use numerous found objects and/or natural elements in each work of art as well as new items, some of which are sold specifically to be used in mixed media art. One such choice is Sandra Everston’s white craft blanks represented here by the heart and flame which has been painted and beaded.

On a textured stenciled canvas studded with vintage beads, the found vintage objects in this piece include buttons, large and tiny beads, and lace. New elements include gears, brass findings, resin cabochons, lion charm, rusty heart, and metal fluted strips.

Attached hangers for wall hanging. Although I prefer the no-frame look, this is ready for framing. I occasionally frame an Assemblage Art piece and the end result can be stunning. This piece would also display nicely on an easel.
